No current Talk conversations about this book. “My Heroes, My People” is a very informative book that talks about very influential African-American and Native American people in history. This book does a really good job of providing the information about these iconic people. The purpose of this book is to inform the readers about people in history that no one really knows about. These people were either never brought up in history classes or they were skimmed over very briefly, and this book makes sure that they are front and center because each person has their own section that solely focuses on them. The author seems to put those that were forgotten back in the forefront of their readers mind. ( ) no reviews | add a review
