I appreciated how the characters were multi-dimensional and not purely evil or good. The moments of Rapunzel were also an exciting touch. I wish there'd been more information on what happened to Willem when he fell from the tower. What I couldn't abide though was all the Barmarres with their constant "Beg your pardon"s. When Lord Tove was frustrated with it too he moved up in opinion of him! Just say what you have to say and stop begging pardons!!
