As a teacher (that loves teaching math), I really wanted to like this book. However, I did not much about Moose and the Math Fairy. I found the pictures to look like a child drew them and the story quite boring and not the best way to talk about the importance of math and how math is all around us. I like the attempt and that they added the fairy world. I am also curious what age they imagined this book for as the math in the back is quite complex. ( )This review was written for LibraryThing Early Reviewers. An adorable and adventurous children's book that illustrates how you can't erase math, it's in everything. Fun-filled artwork and a nice choice for STEM read. Best for easy reader level audience.LibraryThing Early Reviewer no reviews | add a review
When the Math Fairy leaves Moose in charge for the day, he figures making one little change can't hurt. Who needs plus signs, anyway? And graphs can't be THAT important¿ Join Moose on an unexpected journey as he causes problems, solves problems, and learns what makes math so mathematical after all. No library descriptions found. |
