I remember vaguely that it was funny, and connecting somewhat with the main character because I felt like my parents had goofed as well, but I was pleasantly surprised when I revisited it and found that it was smartly amusing for adults as well. ( ) I've loved this book since i was a little girl. It has a great message for children about having self esteem. You can use this book to talk to children about what they are good at and what they like about themselves or help build their confidence. This book is very vivid with adjectives which is another concept you can highlight for students. Each character in the book is different and it will help them see how everyone is unique and special in their own way. no reviews | add a review
