Cam Jansen and her best friend Eric solve another mystery in this twelfth entry in David A. Adler's chapter-book series devoted to their adventures. Accompanying Cam's parents to the airport, where they are to pick up Cam's Aunt Molly, the pair get involved when they discover that a young French girl, traveling to meet her aunt and uncle, who speaks no English, has gone missing...

I recall enjoying the Cam Jansen mysteries when I was a young girl, although Cam Jansen and the Mystery of Flight 54 was published a few years after I had stopped reading them. I've been rereading the entire series as part of a project to familiarize myself with fiction intended for this beginning chapter-book audience, and on the whole I have enjoyed them, despite the fact that they are far less mysterious to me as an adult reader, than they were as a child. Recommended to fans of Cam Jansen, and to beginning chapter-book readers who enjoy mystery. ( )

This is a realistic fiction book. This book is about a girl named Cam who has a photographic memory. Her and her family go to the airport to pick up her aunt. Her aunt cant seem to find her luggage once she is off the plane though. It also appears that the girl her sunt was sitting next to on the plane has gone missing, and she doesnt speak any English! Cam and her family work hard to solve the mystery of the missing luggage and the disappearing girl! ( )

Book description
Cam Jansen uses her photographic memory to help a young French girl who does not speak English. This happens as they are at the airport picking up their Aunt. This is also a great read for a group session time. It was very cheesy but also a easy to understand book.
