This book follows a dog, Dexter, in his pursuit of becoming a superhero. He trains hard and buys his suit and finally becomes Super dog. He goes around his neighborhood helping anyone he can, and he has never been happier. This book is a good read aloud for kindergarten or preschoolers as it is fun and easy to read.

"Dex The Heart of a Hero," is a story about a dog with a dream of becoming a superhero. I love how Dex doesn't sit around and wait for his dream to happen, he makes it happen with hard work and dedication. Along his journey he has some friends that make fun of him and laugh at his dream but he doesn't let their opinions get in the way of what he wants. This is an awesome story about perseverance, dedication, and hard work. ( )

This is a story about the importance of perseverance and hard work! Dex is a small dog -- a very small dog but he has big dreams of himself becoming a superhero. Against all odds through hard work he achieves his dream.

Dexter the Daschund, used to being ignored because of his size, dreamt of being a hero. One day, he decided to work toward being the hero he wanted to be. Dexter exercised and worked hard to become a strong superhero, and found himself a super suit. Even though the other dogs still made fun of him, Dexter kept being Superdog so he could help anyone who was in need. He even found a partner in Cleevis the cat after saving him from falling out of a tree. ( )

The character trained to become a hero. He got a cape, and made himself into a hero. He was helping anyone and everyone he could. ( )
