Follow the Leader by Erica Silverman portrays a typical relationship between two brothers. The big brother in the story wants to be the leader because he is older and bigger. He makes his younger brother copy everything that he does, sometimes they do things that are not safe. Selfishly, the big brother does not want the little brother to become the leader, until the little brother decides he won't play anymore. In a classroom, this book could be used to show the importance of sharing and turn taking.
