This lyrical tale of a man who gets overrun with pigs is full of fun and laughter. The different ways they arrive and the different clothes they wear (including underwear) gives any young reader a giggle. Beautifully illustrated and wonderfully written. ( )

Younger children will love this book! The authors choice of word is silly and rhythmic and sure to keep the kids attention and the illustrations have so much detail in them, it'll be easy to spark conversation with students. Using this book while teaching rhyming words will help make the concept of rhyming stick. Reading this book more once is recommended.
