Sea Otter Rescue chronicles the 1984 oil spill in Alaska. The book starts with a detailed third person description of the moment the oil spill happened in Prince William Sounds. Later chapters discuss the life of sea otters, how they were affected by the oil spill, and how volunteers' efforts saved many of their lives. Some of the pictures made me cry, actually. ( )
