Electro-Elephant, Hypno-Hippo, Hungry Kitty, and four birds are the Super Duper Seven...until Hungry Kitty eats the birds. And then the flying fish that replace them. And then the Mighty Milk Box Twins. Just as the Super Seven are ready to disband, Polka Don (a mouse whose superpower is to make anything with string - but it all comes out polka-dotted) comes along and invites them to be on his team, despite their rejection of him earlier ("You give polka dots a chance, and I will give you a chance"). Readers might worry for Polka Don's safety, but he distracts Hungry Kitty with a ball of yarn.
A clever and fun early graphic novel, with 2-3 panels per page. (
