This book was fun, but it has a shelf life. A unicorn comes to earth and hides in a toy machine. Its mission is to determine if the Unicorns should invade earth. This book is the “log” of this unicorn explorer as he joins a family. The story is nice and the illustrations are lovely. But it would be awkward to read at Storytime. It would be great for bedtime though. ( )

Secret Agent Bubble07 has come to Earth on a top secret mission. He is seeking intel to determine if the unicorn army should invade. He sits in a claw machine and waits to be taken home by an Earthling. Eventually, he is brought home by a little girl. Bubble07 reports back on the strange events that he sees taking place such as tea parties, camping trips and show-and-tell. As the story progresses, Bubble07 begins to see the good that happens on Earth. At the end of the story he sends a final report on whether to invade or not. The illustrations begin in grayscale and a few pastel sparkles on each page. As Bubble07 begins to see the good there is a shift to full color illustrations.
