The Wild Boy tells the story of a boy with no parents. The boy essentially raises himself in the forest with the other animals. The boy doesn't know how to talk, is deaf, and doesn't understand humans. The boy is found one day by a group of hunters and they take him to the city. I would recommend this book to students 3rd-6th grade. ( )

This book is about a young boy that has grown up in the wild by himself and naked. He survives all alone with no contact to any people for many years. All year long he collects food and fights off animals to survive. One day some men find him and bring him to town to study him, but he doesn't talk or respond to anything so eventually they no longer want him around anymore. He is taking in by a doctor and gives him a childhood and family. This book is also abased on a true story which makes it even more interesting. I can see boys really enjoying this book. ( )

This is a true story about a feral child who was found in the woods in France in the 1800s. This would be better for children a little older. ( )
