This book is a very cute book about a rainy day adventure. A kid finds a magical place to spend his day with friends and is first reluctant to do so, but at the end he is excited when it is a rainy day because it means he gets to go back. I think this would be a fun "show aloud" book to encourage kids to think about the storyline.

This book is about a kid who finds himself lonely in his house during a rainstorm. He gets bored and finds a key under a chair. The key opens a chest with the key that leads to an adventure of a new island and kids! After spending the whole day in the new island, he heads home to sleep, and wakes up excited to go back.

This book is great for all ages. It can really help kids as they are reading to imagine how he may be feeing in so many different settings. This

This book is appropriate for all ages.
This book is about a child that discovers a key to a chest that holds a tunnel that leads to an island with other children that he then plays with.
This book could be useful when teaching about wordless books and making inferences.

The book is a wordless children's book about a young boy who finds himself lonely at his house. While playing with a ball, he finds a key. The key opens a chest that leads him down many paths up to a lighthouse. Once at the lighthouse he finds other children and begins to play with them. Although there are no words, it makes the reader curious as to what will happen next. This is a great book for 2-4th graders as a read aloud to encourage them to think creatively. ( )

This book is the story of a young boy who is stuck inside his house on a rainy afternoon, but discovers a secret passage that leads him to a sunny place where he meets new friends. This is a great wordless book that will get children thinking and asking questions as they look through and "read" the book. This book would be appropriate for primary and intermediate readers. ( )
