This tiny little volume was a collection of some of the articles that Laura Ingalls Wilder had written for local newspapers and magazines in the teens and early twenties.

She writes about farm life, occasionally reminisces about her childhool and talks about the changes she was seeing. There's even one article where she talks about the hard winter of 1880-81, which was the basis of 'The Long Winter'.

I found it an interesting read for the aspects of daily life for her and daily life in general. ( )
