HOW TO upload authors pix. I only have three, but would like to contribute.

I have uploaded a bunch of covers. I located the authors page and could not figure how to upload where none were available.

Also, I have a few other beginner questions but think I should enter them one at a time to avoid confusion.

The pictures section is on the right hand side of the author page. Click the plus sign to add a picture straightaway, or navigate to the author gallery first.

(This is on a computer. I don't know where those links are on mobile.)

If you had not enabled the Helper Hub to show on the author pages, you probably need to click on te link/menu for that first. The link is usually on the right panel (it is in the drop down top menu on mobile). Once there, the ability to add pictures is one of the options.

You should not add cover images to an author page. Cover images belong on the work page. However, you can add a cover only if you have catalogued the book.

And reading through your post has now confused a few of us.

Are you trying to update AUTHOR photos or BOOK COVER phots? Please clarify what you want to update.
If you want to update an author photo, see the instructions in the other linked topic.
If you want to update book covers, you must catalog the book in order to update that cover photo.
