Another new user here. I am trying to catalog our family books. Its a desperation measure since we have too many to remember easily and having a bunch of electronic formats has made that even more difficult.
I am finding that my biggest problems are the lack of ISBN for eBooks. I cannot enter ASIN numbers so it is hard to find some items. Typos are, of course, also a complication. LOL! I never was a great typist.
Do others find that the publishing info seems to be missing on most of their books? Is that a function of the eBook uploads?

Can't help with the typos, but I just looked at several of my ebooks and did find copyright info including ISBNs. The books that didn't have that tended to be older books that are in the public domain.

Kindle eBooks tend not to have ISBNs. Amazon doesn't want to pay for them.

Info depends on your source.
