Problems with csv upload

I am using LibraryThing for a school library of about 7500 books which had previously been in a an excel database. We reconfigured the database to match the sample upload file, and uploaded. It seems to go well but 24+ hours later it still is not there. FYI - we do not have ISBN or other identifying numbers in our database.
Is that too many at once - should I try it again in sections?
I manage 2 other libraries plus my own using LibraryThing so am not a newbie - though also not an expert by any means.
