Where do I get a link to a book cover on LT so I can show the cover in my review. I’ve notices people using links of the form
https://pics.cdn.librarything.com/picsizes/56/7d/567d93425b0619f59396c3356414443...
How do I find that url?

Why do you want the cover picture in your review? If people want to see the various covers they are available for the work.

The gist of getting any image, when browsing the web, is you right-click (or whatever equivalent on your setup) and in the menu might be something like "Copy Image Location" (note that it's copying the location, rather than copying the image). Then that URL can be pasted where you want it.

Alternately right-click might give you an option to open the image (in a new tab), or to view the image, and either way should lead to a page where the image is the only thing shown; the URL of that page should be visible somewhere as http.... and that would be the one to copy & paste.

There is a bit of a how-to for embedding images written on the wiki, including getting the URL:

(NB: I haven't tried adding an image into a review so whether the site actually permits that to go through as an image or leaves it as the bare URL, I'll leave others more versed in reviewing to comment on.)

I’ve tried adding a touchstone to another title in a review when it relates. That doesn’t work.

>1 kjuliff: When following >3 Nevov:'s advice for finding the URL, make sure you click the magnifying glass to see the full-size cover before clicking "copy image address"

>2 MarthaJeanne: a lot of people in my favorite group put covers in their posts. It makes it look good. I’d like to do the same.

>3 Nevov: thanks. I mis-spoke - I meant post, not review. Sometimes I describe my thoughts in a post and then work on them to make a review, I think it’s helpful to have the cover in a post.
