Hello
I tried to import our excel sheet and it says there are no books to log. It says I should be able to import title, author, isbn, etc.
I even tried to add 1 isbn number into my excel sheet before I downloaded it to see if it would recognize it but no such luck.
We have over 1000- books and none of them have ISBN numbers in our excel sheet
I read in an earlier post that it will work you just need to be formatted correctly but I don't know the right way to format it
Any help would be great
Thanks in advance

>1 Adat_Reyim_Library: You can find the format your import file needs to match over on our Import page here: http://www.librarything.com/import.
Scroll down to the bottom of the page in the green box on the right-hand side, where you'll see a downloadable file, LibraryThingSample.csv.
You'll need to make sure the columns in your import file match, exactly, those in the Sample file. If no information for a given book exists for a particular column, just leave it blank.
I hope this helps! Feel free to email support staff at info@librarything.com if you need any further help with your import.

thanks I tried to download or view the sample csv file in green you referred. I see it but when I right click there is no option to download and when I click on it I get a 404 error message

>3 Adat_Reyim_Library: Aha, sorry about that. Looks like the file got moved last week when we had some server issues. I'm working on getting that linked fixed. In the meantime, if you'll email me at info@librarything.com, I'll be happy to send the file along to you directly.

I am also trying to do this. I submitted the csv file. It only contained a few books as a test. I used the Sample exactly. I left out the ISBNs on purpose because I have the exact information I want in the other fields and do not want it over-written, but left the field there because another post said it was required to be there.
The import page says I have nothing in the queue . . . but nothing was added as far as I can see . . . and I got no message about errors. Should I just try again?
