This book follows Wendall and Floyd through an adventure in the lost and found, when their friend Mona falls in. They go through the adventure looking for a new lucky hat to turn their unluckiness around. This would be a good read aloud book for younger grades, as it is a little longer, but it is still easy to read and follow along.

Purchased Spanish language books and collected them at TLA Conventions, my granddaughter has expressed the desire to learn to read Spanish better, therefore I am giving all I can find in my collection to her.

I know it's about learning to fly and not being afraid. But the whole book felt rather harsh to me.

EDITED: I have upped my review a star. Here's why:

One of the things I love best about being a librarian is learning from other librarians. A colleague of mine read this book at our mock Caldecott program. And she brought it to life! I saw it in a way I never quite anticipated. I still don't know if I will ever return to it again. BUT I do think it is better than I first thought
