This is the musical version of Charles Dickens' classic tale of A Christmas Carol. After a long life of living for only himself and money, Ebenezer Scrooge is visited by three ghosts- the Ghost of Christmas Past, the Ghose of Christmas Present, and the Ghost of Christmas Yet to Come. As he passes through time, he realizes how empty and self-absorbed his life has been. Will his experiences with these ghostly visits bring him to his senses? There were many wonderful musical compilations throughout the film. One of my favorites of this classic movie. Highly recommend.

A passenger liner turns upside down.

2/4 (Indifferent)

There's the "big spectacle" of upside-down sets, and not much else. The character writing is unbearable.

2022 movie #48. 1960. Alec Guinness plays an up-through-the-ranks colonel in Scotland being replaced by an upper class colonel. They dislike each other immediately. Pretty good. Guinness with an outrageous Scottish accent and red hair was great.
