I really enjoy time travel books generally and this one didn't disappoint.
Reagan and Elliot are 12 and were born with the time travelling gene so they've grown up at a top secret academy where they are training to time travel as Glitchers. There are people called butterflies who are trying to change history and the Glitchers try to stop them. Reagan receives a letter from her future self and the suspense begins.
The book switches each chapter between Reagan and Elliot's POV's. I liked getting inside both of their heads but sometimes I was a bit confused as to whose POV it was. It was really interesting reading about all sorts of big historical events and I think this book would be great for homeschoolers to then discuss each of these events in detail. They're made much more interesting by Reagan and Elliot being thrown into the middle of them.
The discussion about changing history was really interesting and reading about the Butterfly effect. At times they struggle with letting people die but knowing if they save them it will drastically affect the future, I find this to be a really interesting conversation and am looking forward to discussing with my literary club.
No content warnings that I can think of.
A really great book that I would highly recommend.
