"Harold loves to wear his woolly hat...When Harold wears his woolly hat, he knows he is a special bear - different from all the other bears."
But then a crow snatches Harold's woolly hat! Harold tries to bargain with the crow and to make trades, but nothing works. When Harold at last climbs up to crow's nest, he sees three baby birds sleeping cozily inside his hat, which he of course allows them to keep. "Even without my woolly hat, I am still a very special bear," he reassures himself - and the reader agrees.
Illustrations are pencil, pen, and watercolor, manipulated digitally.

Otto, an owl, gets made fun of by other owls because he recites poetry instead of hunting mice. He runs away from his home and begins reciting and creating poems by himself. Mice hear Otto recite his poem and tells him that they love his poems and want to hear more. The other owls listen and enjoy it as well.

Still, I didn't think the book was anything special. The illustrations weren't my favorite....
